Welcome to our
"Style B" rain barrel page!
Our own design places the spigot
low on the front of the rain barrel allowing you to
install your rain barrel on a
solid surface such as a concrete patio and still use a maxium amount
of water from the rain barrel. We refer to this design as Style "B". Optional
items such as the Watering Can Spigot (the higher spigot pictured below) can
be easily added.

The Style "B" barrels are
priced as follows:

I prefer cash but can also accept credit
cards through PayPal. Sorry, no personal or cashier's
checks.
Each Style "B" rain barrel
includes:
-
A 9" round screened basket to keep out
mosquitoes and to filter out the leaves and other debris coming
down your gutters. (If leaves get into your barrel, how are they
going to get out?)
No gutter covers are necessary with this design!
-
A 2"
overflow pipe. Check the size of the overflow ports on most rain
barrels. A garden hose sized overflow is not large enough to keep
up with your gutter's output during a storm. The barrel will
overflow and dump water next to your home's foundation.
-
A
3/4", full-flow,
garden hose connector positioned low on
the barrel. This allows you to attach your garden hose to the
rain barrel and also take advantage of the maximum amount of water
pressure available. Notice the spigot is attached to the barrel using
a bulkhead fitting. This design will not leak like most other designs on
the market.
Simply hook a
soaker hose to the barrel and water your flower or vegetable
garden this summer using chemical free rain water. Your plants will
love it and you will not have to worry about
over-watering.
